YWCA Australia Annual General Meeting
YWCA Australia will hold the 2007-2008 Annual General Meeting on Saturday 22 November 2008 at YWCA Downs and South West Queensland, 112 Mary St, East Toowoomba.
Formal business of the AGM
- Confirmation of minutes of AGM held 17 November 2007
- Presentation of National Board report
- Consideration of the audited financial statements for the 2007/2008 financial year.
- Appointment of auditors for 2008/2009
The National Board will also take the opportunity to discuss a range of other issues with Members, an agenda is attached. In response to requests from members a separate Presidents’ meeting will be held on Sunday 23 November, along with governance training. A meeting of Executive Directors will be held on Friday 21 November.
Proxies for the AGM must be received by YWCA Australia by 9.00am ESDST, Friday 21 November 2007. A proxy form is attached.

ENCORE
The YWCA Encore Annual Dinner will be held on 1st November 2008. This is a womens only night of celebrations for Encore participants, friends, families and supporters who have shared the journey. Also it is a celebration of25 years of Encore in Australia.
The Annual Dinner will be held at the Quality Hotel Burke & Wills in Ruthven Street Toowoomba. Tickets are $35 per person which includes complimentary glass of champagne or juice on arrival, a delicious 2 course dinner & coffee. Cash bar available for the purchase of liquid refreshments.
Seating is limited book early to avoid disappointment. Dress is smart casual and of course should be pink!
